BAY AREA FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER

I photograph families across the Bay Area with a simple approach: warm direction, natural movement, and thoughtful composition. Whether we’re by the coast, in a neighborhood park, or somewhere meaningful to you, the goal is the same - images that feel honest, relaxed, and connected.

Featured Bay Area Locations

These are some of the places I photograph most often. Each offers its own kind of light, texture, and space:

  • Berkeley Marina - Open fields, water views, and great sunset light.

  • Piedmont Park - Quiet paths, greenery, and soft pockets of shade.

  • Half Moon Bay - Wide beaches and clean, airy coastal light.

  • Mussel Rock, Daly City - Dramatic cliffs and cinematic ocean views.

  • Hayward Japanese Garden - Peaceful, curated landscapes with elegant greenery.

  • Palace of Fine Arts - Iconic architecture and warm, reflected light.

  • San Francisco Parks & Coastal Locations - Golden Gate Park, Crissy Field, Sutro, and other scenic areas.

  • Client-Side Locations - Homes, neighborhoods, and private spaces—familiar settings often create the most meaningful images.

How the Process Works

Every session starts with a simple consultation where we talk about your family, the season you’re in, and what you want to remember. From there, we choose a location and time that fits your needs — whether it’s the beach, a neighborhood park, your home, or a private space that matters to you.

I work comfortably with families of all sizes, from maternity and newborn sessions to energetic toddlers, big kids, multi-generation gatherings, and even pets. As a parent myself, I understand how to keep sessions flexible and stress-free.

My approach is straightforward: I create small, natural moments in environments where families can relax and interact without pressure. I don’t use artificial lighting — everything is photographed with available light so your images feel real, warm, and unintrusive. Most families walk away with a mix of candid moments, genuine in-between interactions, and a few relaxed, traditional portraits to choose from.

FAQs

What are your rates?

Pricing is competitive and depends on the session’s scope and location. I can share a clear quote once I know what you have in mind.

How long does a session last?

Timing is flexible. We typically spend 30–60 minutes, but I adjust based on location, light, and your family’s pace.

What time of day is best?

Late afternoon or early evening for golden light. Morning works well too, especially in coastal or foggy locations.

Can we choose our own location?

Yes. If you have a meaningful spot, we’ll shoot there. I can also suggest locations based on the look you want.

What should we wear?

Simple, neutral tones photograph cleanly against Bay Area scenery. Avoid heavy patterns or bright neons.

Do you travel?

Yes. I’m based in the Bay Area and available for sessions across the U.S.
